Mountains Dried Xinjiang Big Red Date 500g / 大山合骏枣 500克

Rode dadels, ofwel jujube, zitten boordevol antioxidanten, eiwitten, vitamine B en C, en mineralen zoals calcium, magnesium, fosfor, kalium en ijzer. Deze vruchten worden dan ook beschouwd als “superfood”. Ze worden gebruikt in de traditionele Chinese en Indiase geneeskunde.

Rode dadels smaken heerlijk in stoofschotels, rijstepap, dessertsoepjes en medicinale soepgerechten. Ze passen goed bij appel of kip, lichte smaken dus. Je kunt er ook azijn, sap, siroop, thee of wijn van maken.

Gezien het hier om gedroogde dadels gaat, kun je ze eventueel eerst even voorweken in warm water.
