Deze sojavellen, ofwel tofuvellen, kun je frituren als snack, bijvoorbeeld loempia.

What is it?
During the cooking of soy milk, a skin or skin forms on the surface. The sheets are carefully removed and hung on sticks to dry. Dried tofuvels crumble quickly and therefore they are first placed in water for a firm structure before they are further prepared. Because of the tough meat-like structure, they are used among other things as a meat substitute. They are stacked or bundled in a way that resembles an imitation flesh.
How to use?
Bean curd sheet can best be used in water for a while before using it. The sheets can be added in hotpot, simmer dishes or in dessert soup. It is also used as a wrapper for dimsum snack.
