Singapore Bak Kuet Teh spices is a ready-to-use seasoning mix in a bag to make broth base for Bak Kuet Teh. Bak Kuet Teh literally means "meat leg tea". Pork ribs are stewed in the broth of spices and herbs. Despite his name, there is in fact no tea, but the name refers to a strong Chinese tea that has the effect of dissolving the amount of fat from the meat. Bak Kuet Teh is eaten in countries such as Singapore, Malaisia, Indonesia and southern Thailand.
