Ayam goreng is a classic Indonesian dish consisting of chicken deep fried in coconut oil. It is usually served with steamed rice, sambal terasi (chili with shrimp paste) or sambal kecap (sliced chili and shallot in sweet soy sauce).
- Bamboe Ayam Goreng seasoning paste
- Frying oil
- 500g chicken
- 200 ml water
Cut 500g chicken into pieces. Boil 200 ml of water, add the seasoning paste and chicken. Simmer until tender and thickened. Deep-fry the chicken until golden brown.
