Are you out of ideas for your fancy dinner? Impress your guests by serving them these Chinese-style steamed scallops!
- 6 scallops 10/20
- 40g glass noodles/rice vermicelli
- 10 garlic cloves
- 125 ml oil
- Soy sauce for seafood
Defrost the scallops and dry it with paper towel. Soak the glass noodle in warm water for 30 minutes, then cut them into short slices. Chop the garlic cloves finely.
Heat oil in the frying pan, and add the garlic. Stir-fry over medium high heat until golden brown.
Put the scallops on a shell or small dish, and top with the glass noodles. Steam the scallops for 10 to 12 minutes over high heat until done.
Take the scallops out of the steamer. Pour ¼ teaspoon of soy sauce on each scallop, put the crispy garlic on top with oil, and top with a cilantro leaf.
