Pisang Goreng: Fried Bananas

Preparation time: 15 minutes



INGREDIENTS

  • Unifood banana fritter mix
  • Bananas
  • Cooking oil
  • 150 ml water
  • Regular fryer / Air fryer

PREPARATION


Method 1: Regular Fryer


Pour cooking oil into the fryer and heat it to 180°C for 3 minutes. In the meantime, mix 1 sachet of Unifood banana fritter mix with 150 ml water, and mix well. Dip the banana in the fritter mix. Deep-fry the banana for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Turn it over several times during frying. Retrieve the fried banana from the oil and drain it with paper towels. Repeat these steps for all the bananas.



Method 2: Air fryer


You can also make pisang goreng by using an air fryer instead of deep-frying them. To do that, spray a little bit of oil on the bananas, and fry them in an air fryer at 200 °C for 5 minutes on each side.
