Stir-Fried Edamame Beans

Preparation time: 15 minutes

Servings: 4

You may have tasted edamame beans at your favourite Japanese restaurant. These immature soybeans are highly prized in Japan and are often served as a starter or appetizer. Their buttery and nutty taste pairs perfectly with the bitterness of a good pint of beer!

  • 300g edamame beans, unpeeled
  • 50g dairy butter
  • 7-chili spices (Nanami Togarashi)
  • 1 Tbsp oil

Defrost the edamame beans and rinse. Dry well.

Heat the oil, then add the edamame beans. Stir regularly. Take the pan off the stove.

Add the dairy butter and mix all well. Sprinkle the chili on top.
