Mango Lassi: Indian Yogurt Drink

Lassi is a popular traditional yogurt-based drink from India. A tasty blend of yogurt, spices and sometimes fruit. It’s deliciously refreshing in summer time and goes well with Indian food. Try our recipe now!

Preparation time: 15 minutes

Number of servings: 3-4


  • 3-4 mangoes / 250ml mango pulp
  • 500ml yogurt
  • 2-3 Tbsp cream
  • ½ tsp cardamom powder


  • Mint leaves
  • Mango cubes


  • Milk
  • 4-5 Tbsp sugar/honey
  • Ice cubes

Kitchen tools:

  • Blender


Chop the mangoes. Puree the mangoes with sugar/honey and cardamom powder in a blender. Add the yogurt and cream. Add some ice cubes. Blend for seconds until mixed well and smooth. If you want a thinner consistency, add some milk while blending. Pour the mango lassi in glasses. Garnish with mint leaves and mango cubes.
