INGREDIENTS
- 250g cooked chickpeas
- Juice from 1 large lemon
- 60ml tahini
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp ground cumin
- Salt to taste
- 2-3 Tbsp water
Garnishes
- Dash paprika powder
- Chopped parsley
HOW TO MAKE IT
Mix the ingredients in the blender until it’s a creamy purée. Taste the hummus. Add more lemon juice, garlic, cumin or salt if needed. Scoop the hummus onto a plate. Sprinkle with some olive oil, paprika powder and parsley.
SERVING SUGGESTION
Hummus tastes great:
- As a dip for roasted pita bread, falafel, tortilla chips or vegetable snacks
- As a spread/sauce for sandwiches, burgers and wraps
- As a salad dressing or as a Macro Bowl topping
