INGREDIENTS
-
200g unsalted butter
-
70 ml oil
-
350g light brown sugar
-
4 large eggs
-
15 ml pure vanilla extract
-
½ tsp salt
-
130g flour
-
100g unsalted cocoa powder
-
150g chocolate chips
Topping:
-
1 pack marshmallows
Extra kitchen tools:
-
Cake mold 20x30 cm
PREPARATION
Heat the oven to 180 °C. Put baking paper in the cake mold. Sift the flour, cocoa powder and salt a couple of times in a bowl. Put it aside. Melt the butter in a small pan and let it cool.
Mix the melted butter, oil and sugar in a bowl. Then add the eggs and vanilla. Mix well. Add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, and mix the ingredients slowly with a spatula until all is absorbed. Don’t mix it too long, otherwise it won’t be as creamy. Add the chocolate chips, and mix well with the batter.
Pour the batter into the cake mold, and spread evenly. Bake the brownie for about 30 to 35 minutes. Let the brownie cool in the cake mold for 15 to 20 minutes, then take it out carefully. Let it cool for an hour. Cover the brownies completely with the marshmallows.
Before serving:
Turn on the grill of your oven, and put the brownie on an oven-proof plate. Grill the marshmallows for about 3 minutes and keep a close eye to make sure the top layer doesn’t burn.
