INGREDIENTS
- 300g pressed tofu
- 5g basil leaves
- 3 tsp shallot, minced
- 5g red chili, minced
- Oil, for deep frying
Seasoning:
- 5 Tbsp cereal
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp sugar
- 2 Tbsp unsalted butter
PREPARATION
Cut the pressed tofu into big cubes and deep-fry the cubes until golden-brown. Remove from pan and set aside.
Melt unsalted butter in a wok over medium heat. Sauté the shallot until it begins to brown evenly.
Add basil leaves and red chili. Taste and season with sugar and salt. Add the cereal. Fry until the cereal turns crispy and light brown in colour.
Pour cereal mix onto the fried pressed tofu.
