This increasingly popular dish is a mix between two different Korean noodles: Jjapaghetti and Neoguri. The result is savory and slightly sweet noodles, followed by a spicy kick to each bite. Add steak to recreate the dish from the movie Parasite.
INGREDIENTS
- 140g Chapagetti
- 120g Neoguri
- 225g tender beef
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper
- 1 liter water
PREPARATION
Start boiling 1 liter water in a medium size pot.
In the meantime, cut the beef into bite size pieces. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a frying pan, add the beef and cook all sides to your liking (rare, medium, or well-done). Sprinkle a bit of salt and pepper on the beef.
When the water is boiling, add the noodles and the vegetable mix from the packets, and continue boiling for 4½ minutes. Drain the noodles, keep 150 ml of the cooking water in the pan. Add the Chapaghetti soup base, 2/3 of the Neoguri soup base, and seasoning oil. Mix and simmer for 30 seconds.
Add the steak to the noodles, stir and enjoy!
