Sayur lodeh is an Indonesian vegetable stew made with coconut milk. There are no rules about which vegetables to use to make this soup - what matters is the coconut milk broth! Try this delicious stew and make it easily at home with Bamboe's seasoning paste!
INGREDIENTS:
- Bamboe Lodeh seasoning paste
- 1L water or clear stock
- 480ml coconut milk
500g vegetables:
- Zucchini
- String beans
- Bamboo shoots
- Egg plant
- Green chili pepper
- Cabbage
Optional:
- 100g beef/prawn
PREPARATION
Boil 500g vegetables in 1 liter of water or clear stock. Optional: add 100g beef or prawns. Add the seasoning paste, and cook until done. Stir in the coconut milk, cook for another 3 minutes.
