Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a boil.
Once the water boils you can add the udon noodles to the pan and cook the noodles for about 8 to 10 minutes. Once the noodles are cooked, drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process. The udon noodles can now be used for your desired dish, for stir-fry, noodle soup or for a fresh salad.
