Making this sweet and spicy roasted chicken is like a walk in the park thanks to Faja Lobi’s ready-made marinades!
INGREDIENTS
- 400g Kotomisi Basmati rice
- 1 kg chicken legs, each cut in 3
- 2 Tbsp honey
- Mix of Kecap (sweet soy sauce) and Sambal (hot sauce)
Pick one of the following marinades (360 ml):
- Faja Lobi Moksie Speciaal Trafasie
- Faja Lobi Losie Foroe Trafasie
- Faja Lobi Moksie Metie Trafasie
PREPARATION
STEP 1: Prepare the Kotomisi Basmati rice according to the instructions on the package.
STEP 2: Spread the Faja Lobi Trafasie over the meat and stir lightly.
STEP 3: Marinade the chicken for 2-3 hours or overnight.
STEP 4: Put the marinated chicken on a baking tray and spread the remaining marinade on top of it.
STEP 5: Roast for 25 to 30 minutes in the oven at 200°C.
STEP 6: Remove the chicken from the oven and brush with honey.
Serving suggestion
Serve with Kotomisi Basmati and string beans. Pour the sweet and spicy sauce over the roasted chicken.
Variation tip
Replace chicken with any other meat of your preference.
