Pakora: Indian Vegetable Fritters
Pakora is a universally popular Indian snack made of batter-coated vegetables which are then deep fried. These spiced snacks are a favourite during the rainy season, and are often enjoyed with chutney or ketchup. Easily make pakora with Gits’ ready-made mix!

- 200g Gits Pakora Mix
- 200ml water
- 500ml oil
- Potatoes
- Onions
- Eggplants
- Spinaches
- Large green chillies (optional)
Dips:
- Chutney
- Ketchup
- Mix the content of Gits Pakora Mix in 200ml of water. Stir until you obtain a smooth batter and set aside for 5 minutes.
- Slice the potatoes, onions, eggplants and spinaches. You can also use large whole green chillies. Dip these into the batter and coat them evenly.
- Heat 500 ml of oil in a pan. Deep fry the batter-coated vegetables in the hot oil until they are golden brown. Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
