Make this delicious teriyaki salmon with your own homemade teriyaki sauce. Serve it with a bowl of steamed rice, some miso soup, and a side of vegetables for a healthy meal!

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 salmon steaks
  • 160 ml mirin (sweet cooking wine)
  • 4 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • Oil

PREPARATION


Dry the salmon steaks with a paper towel. Heat oil in a pan and fry the salmon over medium low heat on both sides, until done. Take the salmon out of the pan, and keep it warm on a plate, under tin foil.



Add the mirin, soy sauce and sugar in a sauce pan. Bring it to a boil. Turn the heat down, and simmer for 5-10 minutes until it has become a thick sauce.



Pour the sauce over the salmon, and serve.
