Learn how to make delicious Spanish mackerel fish steaks grilled in Korean barbecue style!
INGREDIENTS
- ½ tsp sesame seeds, roasted
- 2 Tbsp Mama Sita’s Barbecue Marinade
- ¼ tsp ginger, grated
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- ½ kg mackerel steaks
- 2 Tbsp cooking oil
Sauce mix:
- 1 Tbsp Mama Sita’s Barbecue Marinade
- 2 Tbsp spring onions, chopped
- ¼ tsp sesame seeds, roasted
- ½ tsp sesame oil
PREPARATION
Mix the sesame seeds, 2 Tbsp barbecue marinade, ginger, and sesame oil. Marinate the mackerel in this mixture for 10 minutes. Pan-fry the mackerel in a shallow frying pan or grill over hot coals.
Sauce
Mix 1 Tbsp barbecue marinade, spring onion, roasted sesame seeds, and sesame oil. Pour this over the cooked fish. Garnish with roasted sesame seeds.
