Chow mein are stir-fried egg noodles, usually with vegetables but also with meat or tofu. Enjoy this flavourful Chinese specialty which is super easy to prepare thanks to the Faja Lobi seasoning mixes!
INGREDIENTS
- 400g bean sprouts
- 500g Soubry Chinese egg noodles
- 500g chicken breast or drumsticks
- Faja Lobi Trassie Trafasie
- 150g vegetable mix (leek and julienned carrot)
- Celery, chopped
- Bean sprouts
- Sunflower oil
- 1 onion
- 360ml Faja Lobi Bami Trafasie
- 360ml Faja Lobi Losie Foroe Trafasie
PREPARATION
STEP 1: Prepare the noodles according to the instructions on the package.
STEP 2: Prepare the Losie Foroe Trafasie. Marinade and prepare the chicken with the Losie Foroe Trafasie, according to the instructions on the package. Use the sauce that is left after the grilling to garnish the celery.
STEP 3: Fruit the onion with 6 tablespoons of oil until light-brown. Add the cut leek and julienned carrot, and stir-fry a couple of minutes. Then add 4 tablespoons of Bami Trafasie, and stir. Add the noodles and bean sprouts, then stir-fry on low heat for 5 minutes.
Variation tip
Add a little bit of Faja Lobi Trassie Trafasie while stir-frying.
