400g Kotomisi Basmati rice

4 eggs

Sunflower oil

1 onion

3 cloves of garlic

350g chicken breast

200g green peas (frozen)

1 bunch of spring onion

4 Tbsp Faja Lobi Witte Nasi Trafasie (freshly prepared stir-fry mix)

8 slices of grilled chicken or ham

4 tsp sesame oil

3 Tbsp Shaoxing rice wine
PREPARATION
STEP 1: Prepare the Kotomisi Basmati rice according to the instructions on the packaging.
STEP 2: Stir-fry the eggs in one tablespoon of sunflower oil.
STEP 3: Heat 5 tablespoons of sunflower oil, chopped onion and pressed garlic, and fry until slightly brown.
STEP 4: Add slices of grilled chicken, stir and put the lid on the pot until done.
STEP 5: Add green peas and diagonally cut spring onion, stir and put the lid on the pot to cook until done. Stir occasionally.
STEP 6: Add Witte Nasi Trafasie (stir-fry mix) and stir.
STEP 7: Add the cooked rice, eggs, slices of grilled chicken or ham (cut in strips), and stir continuously. Cook for 5 minutes to get a nice and evenly mixed fried rice dish. Add sesame oil and rice wine during the last minute and stir. Add salt to your own preference.
Variation suggestion
At the end of STEP 7, add broth instead of salt to your own preference.
