Preparation time: 25 minutes
Servings: 4
INGREDIENTS
- 1 pack roti paratha
- 5 century eggs (pei daan)
- 50g pickled ginger
- 1 pack lotus seed paste
- 1 regular egg
- White sesame seeds
- Airfryer
PREPARATION
Take the roti parathe out of the freezer and let it defrost for a couple of minutes, so it becomes foldable. Cut the roti paratha in half.
Smear lotus paste on the roti paratha, while keeping the edge clean. Then sprinkle the pickled ginger over the lotus paste. Put half a century egg in the middle of the sheet, with the round side down. Fold the edge towards each other and press well. Smear regular egg over the round side, and sprinkle some sesame seeds on top. Repeat this step for the rest of the century eggs.
Preheat the airfryer at 200°C. Put the pastries in the airfryer. Bake the pastries for about 10 minutes, then flip them and bake them another 2 minutes until golden brown.
