Do you love sushi? Then you’ll surely love this sushi wrap as well! A major plus: it’s very easy to prepare.
Ingredients for 20 wraps:
- 550g sushi rice
- 80ml Japanese rice vinegar
- 3 tsp sugar
- 10 seaweed sheets (nori)
Filling:
- Surimi sticks
- Unagi (eel)
- Fried shrimps
- Wakame seaweed
- Avocado
- Cucumber
- Omelette
- Lettuce
- Salmon
- Tuna
- Japanese mayonnaise
Sauces and garnishes:
- Soy sauce
- Pickled sushi ginger
- Sesame seeds
- Masago (fish eggs)
- Wasabi paste
How to make it:
- 1. Prepare the sushi rice and let it cool off.
- 2. Prepare the filling in the meantime: cut everything into strips.
- 3. Cut the seaweed sheets in half. Cover one half with rice. Then you can add whatever you like. You can also put some Japanese mayonnaise on top.
- 4. Roll it up like a wrap and garnish it with sesame seeds and masago.
- 5. Serve with soy sauce, wasabi and pickled ginger.
