Chicken seasoned with lots of garlic. One of the most popular Filipino dishes!



INGREDIENTS

  • 50g Mama Sita’s Adobo Mix
  • 250 ml water
  • 1 kg chicken
  • 2 Tbsp cooking oil
  • 2 Tbsp garlic, crushed

PREPARATION


Dissolve the adobo mix in 250 ml of water. Marinate the chicken in this mixture for 15 minutes.



Heat cooking oil in a saucepan. Remove the chicken from the marinade and fry over high heat until the edges turn golden brown. Pour in the marinade and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer until the chicken is done.



Sauté the garlic until golden, add the chicken pieces and stir-fry. Pour in any remaining sauce from the chicken. Cook over high heat for another 3 minutes.



Variation tip:


Pork belly or spareribs can be used instead of chicken.
