  • 350-400g pork
  • 2 liter cold water

Preparation time: 180 minutes

  1. Put all Chinese herbs in a large bowl and add water. Soak the herbs for about 30 minutes until soft. Remove the seeds of the winter melon and cut the winter melon into rough chunks.
  2. Put up a pan with cold water and add the meat. Once the water is boiling, cook the meat for another 5 to 8 minutes. Drain the water and rinse the meat.
  3. Put the meat and Chinese herbs in a soup pan. Add 2 liters of cold water. Bring the water to a boil, then cook for about 10 minutes over high heat. Then turn the heat to medium soft, and simmer for 45 minutes. Then add the winter melon and simmer for another 45 minutes. Season with a bit of salt.
