Chinese soup with meat, vegetables and dried herbs

Warm up with this tasty soup with meat, vegetables and Chinese dried herbs! It is easy to make and perfect for cold winter days.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pack Chinese dried herbs
  • 350-400g carrot
  • 400-500g spareribs
  • 2 liter cold water
  • Salt


PREPARATION
Put all Chinese herbs in a large bowl and add water. Soak the herbs for about 30 minutes. Peel the carrots and cut it into coarse chunks.



Put up a pan with cold water and add the spareribs. Once the water is boiling, cook the spareribs for another 5 to 8 minutes. Drain the water and rinse the spareribs.



Put the meat, Chinese herbs and carrots in a soup pan. Add 2 liter of cold water. Bring the water to a boil, then cook it for about 10 minutes over high heat. Then turn the heat to medium soft and cook it for 2 hours. Season with a bit of salt.
