Chow Mein Noodles
Chow Mein are Chinese-style stir-fried noodles. The dish is eaten in several countries with a large Chinese community, such as Hong Kong, Suriname and Singapore. Delicious, easy and quick to prepare!

Based on 2 persons
- 1 pack of Oriental Mie approx. 200 grams
- 200 grams of meat (chicken, pork, beef or shrimp)
- 1 clove garlic (finely chopped)
- ½ onion (finely chopped)
- 5 tablespoons Stir fry noodle sauce
- 1 red chili pepper (cut into strips)
- 1 spring onion (finely chopped)
- 100 grams of bean sprouts (washed)
- 1 carrot (cut into strips)
- 1 red pepper (cut into strips)
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 sprig of coriander garnish
- Cook the Oriental noodles following the preparation instructions on the packaging.
- Wash the bean sprouts and cut the pepper and chili pepper into strips.
- Wash the spring onions and then cut them into ½ cm.
- Cut the pork into strips.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a wok or frying pan.
- Stir-fry the onions and garlic over medium heat until they turn light brown. Then add the sliced pork.
- Stir-fry the pork until almost done and add the bean sprouts and peppers. Stir-fry the vegetables and pork for 2 minutes and turn the heat to medium-high.
- Place the Oriental noodles in the wok. Stir the noodles well with the other ingredients and then add 5 tablespoons of stir fry noodle sauce. Fry everything well for 3 minutes.
- Sprinkle the dish with 1 tablespoon of sesame oil. Finally, add the spring onions and chili pepper and then mix them well so that you get a nice, colorful whole.
- Garnish the dish with coriander leaves.
