3 in 1 instant coffee is an instant coffee based on sugar, creamer, maltodextrin and salt. Traditional Vietnamese coffee is freshly brewed slowly using a small, stainless machine called Phin. The coffee that comes out is less concentrated than an espresso but more intense than a regular filter coffee. It is usually supplemented with (condensed) milk and ice cubes. 3 in 1 instant coffee can be served hot or cold, possibly with ice cubes.
