INGREDIENTS
- 1 box CJ Beksul Sweet Pancake Mix Green Tea*
- 180ml warm water (40°C – 45°C)
- Oil
- Almonds (optional)
*The box contains:
- 296g hotteok pancake mix
- 4g instant dry yeast
- 100g filling mix
Tools:
- Mixing bowl
- Pan
- Spatula
PREPARATION
Put the warm water, instant dry yeast and pancake mix in a mixing bowl and knead for 5 minutes.
Rub some cooking oil on your hands and divide the dough into 8 balls. Flatten each ball and place a tablespoon of the filling mix (12.5g) at the center of the dough. Press the edges together to seal in the filling, roll it into a smooth ball and flatten again. Place 3 almonds in a star shape on top of the dough to decorate the hotteok. Repeat these steps until all the ingredients have been used.
Lightly oil your pan and preheat it over low heat. Place the hotteok in the pan with the sealed side down. Fry them until they are lightly browned. Flip and flatten them with a spatula. Continue cooking them for 1-2 minutes and then flip them again. Fry the other side of the hotteok for another 1-2 minutes.
Your green tea hotteok are done! Enjoy!
