Heng Shun Chinkiang Rice Vinegar 550ml
Chinkiang vinegar, also known as black rice vinegar is made from water, glutinous rice, wheat bran, sugar and salt. The vinegar is very dark (black) in color and aromatic in taste. It originates from the town of Chinkiang near Shanghai in China. Black rice vinegar can be used in both stir-fry and simmer dishes. In combination with some soy sauce in the dish, the taste is balanced between sour, sweet and salty. As a dipping sauce, black vinegar gives an intense flavor to the dish. To make the dipping sauce, add brown sugar and finely chopped garlic.
