Indian-Surinamese Curry Chicken
Try this spicy chicken curry now! Delicious with roti or rice!
- 1 kg chicken fillet or drumsticks
- 4 Tbsp Lufo curry marinade
- 2 Tbsp oil
Serve with:
- Roti wraps
- Rice
- Asparagus beans

Cut the chicken into pieces.

Add 4 tablespoons of Lufo Curry marinade and leave for about 5 minutes.

Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a saucepan. Stir fry the chicken in the hot pan for about 5 minutes. Then put the lid on the pan and let it simmer further on a low heat. Adding water is not necessary.
- After 10 minutes, remove the lid from the pan and spoon the chicken every 5 minutes. After 15-20 minutes, the chicken is ready. Serve with long beans, roti or rice.
Variation tips
- Potatoes: Boil the potatoes and let it soak in the curry sauce
- Eggs: Cut hard-boiled eggs in half and let it soak into the curry sauce
- Shrimp: Let the curry sauce simmer on a low heat. Then add the peeled shrimp and let it simmer for about 5 minutes
