Chinese stir-fried egg noodles with veggies and meat. This tasty noodle dish has become very much a part of Filipino cuisine.



INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tsp Mama Sita’s Mushroom Oyster Sauce
  • 40g Mama Sita’s Chopsuey/Pancit Canton Mix
  • Canton noodles
  • 100g shrimps, peeled and deveined
  • 100g carrots
  • 100g snow peas, stringed
  • 100g Chinese cabbage
  • 5 mushrooms
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp sesame oil (optional)
  • 3 Tbsp oil
  • 250 ml water

Serve with:

  • Soy sauce
  • Calamansi (Filipino lime)

PREPARATION


Dissolve the chopsuey/pancit canton mix in 250 ml water. Slice the carrot, Chinese cabbage, mushrooms and onion.



Heat oil in a wok, and sauté the onions, chicken, and shrimps. When the chicken is cooked, add the vegetables, oyster sauce and the dissolved chopsuey/pancit canton mix. Add 250 ml of water and increase heat. Add the canton noodles, cover, simmer and cook until noodles are tender.



Sprinkle with sesame oil. Serve with calamansi and soy sauce.
