Semur daging is an Indonesian beef and potato stew often served during traditional events. The ingredients are braised in a brown and thick sauce made with kecap manis, an Indonesian sweet soy sauce.

INGREDIENTS

  • Bamboo Semur seasoning paste
  • 500g beef
  • ½ Tbsp sweet soy sauce
  • 100g fried potatoes, sliced


Optional:

  • 2 tomatoes
  • 30g vermicelli


PREPARATION
Boil the sliced beef. Keep 500 ml of broth in the pan. Add the seasoning paste, ½ tablespoon of sweet soy sauce, and turn to low heat. Simmer for 45 minutes. Add fried potatoes.



Optional
Add 2 sliced tomatoes and 30g vermicelli.
