Warm yourself up with this herbal soup with Chinese yam roots and spareribs.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 pack Chinese dried herbs (Shashen Yuzu)
- 350g-400g yam
- 400-500g spareribs
- 2 liter cold water
- Salt
PREPARATION
Put all Chinese herbs in a large bowl and add water. Soak the herbs for about 30 minutes. Peel the yam and cut it into 1-cm thick slices.
Put up a pan with cold water and add the spareribs. Once the water is boiling, cook the spareribs for another 5 to 8 minutes. Drain the water and rinse the meat.
