Tea Jelly with Goji Berries and Osmanthus Flowers
These fish-shaped tea jellies with goji berries and Osmanthus flowers are not only a feast for the eyes but also for the belly! Serve them on special occasions and impress your guests!
Preperation time: 25 minutes
- 1 liter water
- 2 Tbsp Osmanthus flowers
- 2 Tbsp goji berries
- 10g agar agar powder
- 15g rock sugar
- Fish-shaped molds
- Bring water to a boil, together with the Osmanthus flowers. Turn down the heat, soak the flowers for 10 minutes and add the goji berries in the final 3 minutes. Then scoop up the flowers and berries.
- Add sugar to the water and stir until the sugar has dissolved. Add the agar agar powder while stirring, and bring it to a boil. Take the pan off the stove and stir. Let it cool down for 10 minutes.
- Put some Osmanthus flowers and goji berries in the molds and pour in the tea carefully. Put the molds in the fridge and let the jelly firm up.
- Note: in order to have firm jelly, it’s advised to prepare the jelly the day before serving.
