Tteokbokki: Korean Spicy Rice Sticks

Ingredients
            Based on  4 persons        
                - 500g rice cake sticks
 - 3 Tbsp gochujang sauce
 - 1 Tbsp sugar
 - 1 Tbsp chili flakes
 - 3 spring onions
 - 4 hard-boiled eggs
 
- Boil a pan with water. Cook the rice cake sticks for 2 minutes and drain the water.
 - Mix the hot sauce, sugar and the chili flakes in a bowl.
 - Put the sauce in a heated pan and add the rice cake sticks and the spring onions. Stir gently until the mix starts to boil and turn down the heat to medium. Keep stirring until the rice cake sticks are soft and until the sauce is thickened. This takes 10 to 15 minutes.
 - Finally add the hard-boiled eggs and boil it for 1 more minute.
