Macro Bowl With Tofu And Soy Dressing
Easy, nutritious and yummy: that’s the macro bowl! A balanced meal containing the macro nutrients carbohydrates, protein and fats. Big plus: you can mix and match with your favorite ingredients.
- (Brown) rice
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper
- Sesame seeds
Toppings:
- Cooked edamame beans
- Firm tofu
- Avocado
- Kale
Dressing:
- 1 Tbsp ginger syrup
- 1 Tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 3 Tbsp sunflower oil
- 10g chopped fresh coriander
- Prepare the rice according to the instructions on the package. In the meantime, cut the avocado into slices. Mix the ingredients for the dressing in a bowl.
- Wash the kale, drain and chop it. Put it in a large bowl. Sprinkle with a bit of olive oil, salt and pepper. Massage the kale for 1 minute or until it’s soft.
- Wrap the tofu in multiple layers of paper towels. Press the tofu carefully to absorb the moisture. Cut the tofu into slices of 10 mm thick. Heat oil in a pan. Add the tofu and fry them on each side for 6 minutes until golden brown. Then cut it into cubes.
- Put the rice in a bowl. Add the toppings and sprinkle with the dressing and sesame seeds.
